Introducing: Hand-Painted Silk Scarves — Wearable Art

Posted by Dyanna Csaposs on

Dear Darlings,

I’m thrilled to introduce my new line of hand-painted silk scarves — each one a unique, one-of-a-kind painting you can wear.

This collection marks a beautiful bridge between my fine art practice and my work through SERPEN. Painting on silk felt like a natural transition, the way the pigment moves across the fine silk is alive, spontaneous, and magical. Each scarf becomes a living artwork, transforming with movement and light.

Each piece is unique. My process involves Shibori dyeing techniques, hand painting and some wax resist as well. The result is a wearable piece of art. The silk is soft and supple like a flower petal.

Scarves are having a major moment right now — they can be tied in your hair, wrapped around your neck, worn as a top, under a hat or even hung on a wall. However you wear it, it’s a way to carry a piece of art with you every day.

in ♥︎ & gratitude,
Dyanna
